Laura

Laura's yoga journey began in 2013, seamlessly integrating her background as a Doctor of Pharmacy and former athlete with the yogic lifestyle, reflecting her holistic approach to health and fitness. Throughout two pregnancies, she maintained a dedicated practice, finding both solace and strength in the fluidity of vinyasa and the discipline of Ashtanga yoga. Under the guidance of Todd Boman in Chicago, Laura explored the intricacies of the Ashtanga second series. She also immersed herself in C-yoga with Carmen Aguilar, focusing on mastering arm balances and inversions.

In both her personal practice and teaching, Laura emphasizes the integration of yoga as a vital component of spiritual wellness. She advocates for natural healing, incorporating supplements and herbs, promoting non-toxic beauty and cleaning products, and embracing a diet centered on wholesome ingredients complemented by intermittent fasting. Laura believes in the transformative power of meditation, recognizing its capacity to empower individuals to govern their minds and lives.

Students attending Laura's classes can expect a dynamic and nurturing environment that encourages exploration and growth. Her teaching style reflects her diverse experiences, offering a blend of strength, flexibility, and mindfulness practices designed to support each student's unique journey.

Laura earned her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2021. She is enthusiastic about sharing the wealth of knowledge gained from her dedicated personal practice with the Yoga Life Center community.
